Scene 1:
Act 1: (2 People in different rooms on phone)

Aaron (on Phone): Hey Mihir.

Mihir (on Phone): Hey Aaron, What’s up?
Aaron (on Phone): Nothing much, just a bit nervous, I have interviews
coming up.
Mihir (on Phone): Don’t worry it’ll be fine you will ace the interview.
Just don’t panic and revise data structures for the technical interview
and you should be fine.
Aaron (on Phone): Alright I will.
So, what are your plans for the interview?
Mihir (on Phone): I got no plans; I wish to study cinematography
now.
Aaron (on Phone): Well, good luck with that!

Act 3: (At the interview)

(Inside the interviewers’ office, interviewers sitting on the desk
checking some papers and asks the peon to call the next candidate,
Animisha walks in)
Suhaas: Hello Miss Animisha, please grab a seat.
Animisha: Thank you Sir.
Suhaas: So, miss Animisha why do you want to become a data
analyst?
Animisha: Sir I am really looking forward for this job and will prove to
be an asset to this company.
Suhaas: Would you like to provide some support to your assertion?
Animisha: Ma’am I have made 5 projects in my college tenure which
are based on e-commerce, data storage and manipulation and
android development. I am proficient in 3 programming languages
and apart from this I have 4-month internship experience.
(All 3 interviewers): Nod in approval.
Abhishek: And reading your resume we also find that our have good
oratory skills as you have participated in many debates and
speeches. What were they on?
Animisha: They were on ethical hacking and cybersecurity I have also
attended 3 seminars which were correlated with cybersecurity.
Suhaas: Quite impressive.
(indistinct chatter among the interviewers, Animisha feels nervous
and sweating)
Avnish: All right, we will further update you by mail/phone within a
week. Good luck!
Act 5: (B1 calls B2)
Aaron: Bro I got the job!
Mihir: Congrats man! Even my friend Animisha, got the job. Seems
like data analysts are on high demand. Let’s meet today evening? I
will get my friend too.
Aaron: Okay.

Act 6: (Walking on the footpath)

Mihir: Hey Aaron! congrats on getting the job bro.
Aaron: Thanks man.
Mihir: So how was the interview?
Aaron: Technical interview was good, I was confident about my
topics, but in the HR interview I was tensed.
Mihir: Why?
Aaron: I don’t have much internship experience and the amount of
projects was less, but somehow I managed to get the post.
Mihir (To Aaron): Wow congrats man.
(Animisha walks in)
(Aaron and Mihir one by one) Oh Hey Animisha!
Aaron: Hey guys!
Mihir: I am happy for both of you! Both of you were tensed earlier,
and now I can see your faces blooming.
Animisha: Well, yes but I was expecting a better package.
Aaron: Oh, come on 9 LPA is a decent amount.
Animisha: 9? What are you talking about, I got an offer for 6.5!
Aaron (in a sarcastic manner): Wait, wasn’t it the same company we
applied for? Mihir was telling me about it.
Animisha: Yes, it is.
Mihir: Then why the difference in the salary?

( Scene changes )
Yaswanth: People have a thinking that men will work for more hours
and can give more output which is a completely wrong prejudice.
People have already made up their mind and consider women
weaker than men and expect them to be the breadwinner of the
family. Although I may have better educational qualifications and
abilities to do work better than B2, the boss being a prejudiced
person gave him a better offer. Now it’s my decision whether to
accept or reject the offer. I will not make their beliefs come true that
we deserve less than men, I will take up a challenge and do my best
and show my worth.

Scene 2:
(A classroom full of students)
G2: ( Checks e-mail)
G1&G2: (Visible happiness on the faces)
G1: We are sure to get a job now, this is the 3rd company that has
offered only to take in female candidates.
G2: Yes, I am so happy. (Looks mockingly at the guys)
B5: This is so unfair! Where is the gender equality gone now?
B6: I know right, it has just become a social media thing now. So
much competition amongst the guys. I doubt if we will even get a
job.
B5: All we can do is hope now. Look at them (girls) only if we could
be so happy.
