My 3 initial film ideas:

My first film idea was about a girl called Courtney who is 17 and goes to college with
her best friend Sarah. Sarah gets a boyfriend and eventually drops out of college
because her and her boyfriend Kyle are never there anymore, leaving Courtney by
herself Kyle’s friend Jordan takes an interest to Courtney but they are two very
different people. She’s the quiet outsider who hates school and most of the people in it
& he is the popular jock, loved by most and wanted by most of the girls in the school.
Courtney is getting picked on for Jordan liking her, he just doesn’t get what it’s like to
be a girl in college.

My second film idea was about a 17-year-old girl called Jess. She lives on a council
estate with her 2 younger siblings, her mum is supposed to be living there but is
normally at her friends or boyfriends house. Jess has to juggle the role of mum with
her school life and exams and her job whilst still trying to have her own social life.
Features use of drugs, alcohol and bullying. School was making it harder for her to
provide so she stopped going, threw her life away at 17 to be the mum they all
needed.

My third film idea was council estate mixed with teen coming of age conventions, it is
about a 17-year-old girl called Mollie who lives with her mum, mostly alone because
her mum works long hours in order to provide for them. She starts to mix in with the
wrong people, slowly loosing herself and becoming someone she’s not. She loses
friends, gets involved with alcohol and drugs, breaks bonds with her mum and best
friend and drops from a student who gets the best grades to a girl just about passing.
