1. The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong has a lot of vacant rooms due to the outbreak
of COVID-19 pandemic. Since November 2020, the government has made compulsory that
all persons arriving at Hong Kong who have stayed in places outside China on the day of
arrival at Hong Kong have to stay in the designated quarantine hotels for 21 days. The
Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong has become one of the designated quarantine
hotels. As a result, the number of vacant rooms decreased.
