Physical fitness refers to the ability of your body systems to work together
efficiently to allow you to be healthy and perform activities of daily living. It
affects our physical, mental, emotional and social health.
In our physical health, it improves our body image. It also improves
muscular strength and endurance. It increases bone strength and joint
flexibility. It decreases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, stroke,
and other diseases. It also improves blood pressure and limit sickness. It helps
us maintain a healthy body weight.
In our mental health, it affects our cognitive function and development.
We can develop mastery and improves critical thinking by involving in
physical fitness. It improves coordination and motor skills.
In our emotional health, physical fitness can help to give us a more positive
view about ourselves. It boosts our mood and increase overall happiness in
our lives. Through physical fitness, it produces significant reductions of
depression and anxiety. It also improves our attitude.
In our social health, it enhances our interpersonal skills and communication.
Through physical fitness, we can be able to meet new friends. It improves our
leadership skills. It also provides new cultural experience to us.
Overall, I can say that physical fitness is very essential because it affects
our overall well-being.
