Before Work ing Offline, ensure from Sy stem
Administrator that this is acceptable, and that y ou 2
may reserv e the items that y ou w ill use in Offline
mode
1. St art NX from Team cent er
2. Select Export Assem bly Out side Team cent er
3. From Load Opt ions page, select appropriat e
Rev ision Rule
4. From Main t ab, select Add Assem bly and select
assem bly t o be export ed 4
5. Select Log Files t ab and select Out put Log File. Log 5
file w ill be used w hile im port ing t he it em s back t o
Team cent er 6
6. Select Nam ing Tab and select Export Nam e  Aut o
Translat e and Out put direct ory

7. In the Check outs tab, select “ Check -Out Exported
Parts”
8. From Main tab choose if only assembly w ill be
exported (Root parts only ) or components also (Full)
9. After this select “ Set Defaults” and select “ Report to
Information Window
10. If Information w indow display s correct information,
select Execute to accept the export

1. Now NX can be connected to Teamcenter by

selecting ” Import Assembly into Teamcenter” 1
2. Select Log File to set up Import
3. Prev iously exported assembly w ill be collected to
Import dialog, if new parts hav e been added, use
suitable ” Find Components” setting.
4. Select New parts and giv e them necessary

5. After ev ery thing is set, select ” Validate Teamcenter Information and Dry Run
6. Then Select Ok , if Dry run completes successfully
7. Check the data that it has been Check ed In
