Something that I have learned from To Kill A Mocking Bird, is that you cannot really tell if a

person is a good person inside or the other way around. In this modern world even when in the past, it is
prevalent for most of the people who are in power to shoot a mocking bird, in different countries, places
even in juries or court of trials, a lot innocent person who are helpless and deprived of opportunities and
fair treatment are being convicted of crimes and such in which they are not really involved with.
Arthur Boo Rodley and Tom Robinson are the great examples in the story. In part of Tom
Robinson, of course it is when he was convicted as guilty of rape by most of the reasons that he is a
negro, in which during their time being a negro seems to be a cursed for people view them as bad, as
someone who can kill and be dirty.
On the part of Arthur Boo Rodley naman po, he was pictured by his neighbors as a lonely
monster, a creepy old man living in a creepy house who never sets foot outside his house in whom
children should be afraid of where in fact he is not. He even save Jem and Scout when somebody is
following the children and about to hurt them.
And those naman po sa part ng mga active party sa court po like Bob Ewell, he is the opposite of
tom robinson and boo Radley. They seem to have a happy family, a good reputation but he was actually an
abuser of his own daughter Mayella Ewell.
In summary po, we cannot change naman po those people who are in this kind of practice
especially when they are in power, what the least thing we can do is to understand and help those who are
being oppressed, those who are voiceless and weak, we should help one another.
And as an accountancy student who have studied business law po, if ever we will be extending
our cpa dreams po to become a lawyer and if theres a chance to become a jury or a judge, make sure po na
we will do our job with utmost faithfulness and with no bias. We should be like Atticus who acts like a
hero especially to those who are in need.
