Please summarize how you feel about 3D CAD software currently, and how you feel it will change in the
future?
I work for a large electrical contractor (1000+ electricians) on large ($1 million to 40
million) commercial and industrial projects. We coordinate our conduit and cable
tray routing with the mechanical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler contractors. We have
been drawing in 3D for two years and have seen a continuous increase in other
companies use of 3D. In my opinion 3D usage will increase on large projects but
may not be as prevelent on smaller projects.
