SAP Activate - Overview

The SAP Activate methodology for SAP Hybris


Commerce is designed to support project teams in the
new implementation of SAP Hybris solutions on-premise
or in privately managed cloud environments.

Overview

The methodology is structured into project phases, each containing a list of deliverables and supporting tasks. Along the
hierarchy, users will find accelerators such as templates and examples to support their implementation project (for
example Fit/Gap Analysis Workshop Guide or ALM - Solution Manager Processes).

Benefits

The SAP Activate methodology offers the following benefits:

of Cloud-based Deployment approaches. At the same time, it is leveraging sound project delivery practices
like formal Project Quality Gates for traditional and RDS projects.

Guiding Principles

The SAP Activate methodology is built to support customers, SAP and partner teams during the implementation
projects that are delivered individually or as part of an engagement under the SAP MaxAttention or SAP
ActiveEmbedded agreement. The methodology builds on the following guiding principles

Re-use of knowledge assets and pre-built content like Model Company, RDS or Best Practices
Leverage the flexibility of the cloud
Agile solution deployment with incremental and iterative build of high-priority capabilities
Co-Innovate with Customer
Implementation and Operations fully supported with Innovation Control Center/Operations Control Center a
nd Mission Control Center for Premium Engagement Customers

The methodology is developed primarily for SAP customers, partners and the Service and Support Teams, specifically
the following roles:
