03/17/21 30 mins Building a poster for my book club to
help advertise it which I sent to my
classmates
02/10/21 - 1 hour I constantly emailed Ms. Munafo over
03/22/21 the course of this past month once she
became my mentor planning out the
book club, which book we were going to
read, and when we were going to host
it.
03/14/21 - 1 hour I spent around an hour throughout this
03/23/21 past week sending the poster and
asking classmates through Snapchat and
iMessage to join my book club and got a
few of my senior classmates to join
which really helped me feel even more
excited for this bookclub and help join
the book club to encourage middle
school students to show that even
seniors need a way to relax.

Munafo through a Google Meet talking
about the book club, and other various

It was sort of difficult to
understand the website that
Ms. Munafo gave me at first
but I ended up figuring it out
and my classmate (seniors) said
it came out very well.
It took a little while to get the
book club in action with her
being busy with her own kids
and the work that they were
doing but we have gotten the
kids to join and start coming to
the book club every
Wednesdays starting March
24th.
It was hard to get the poster I
made onto my phone because
it was a big file but eventually I
did and posted it to my
classmates asking them to join
the bookclub.
There were no difficulties
throughout this. Ms. Munafo
constantly kept in contact with
 ideas about how to run it which turned
out very well.
03/19/202 5 minutes I spent at least 5 minutes presenting my
1 idea to seniors in our meet last friday to
help gather people for my book club.
03/24/202 1 hour and I spent the first book meet to introduce
1 30 the book club and book to the middle
minutes schoolers with Mrs. Boutilier there and
Ms. Munafo which went fine and
learned a couple of things on how to
run and set an example as a sort of
teacher for them.
03/31/202 1 hour and I turned my camera on for this meet and
1 30 it went a lot smoother, we had to wait
minutes an extra week to introduce the book to
the kids since they were just
transitioning from third to fourth
quarter which was fine but besides that,
it went very well. The kids who did read,
we talked about it and what they liked.
04/07/202 1 hour and The meet went perfect, we went over
1 30 the first two chapters and Ms. Munafo
minutes gave me some advice again and the kids
were loving the book.
04/21/202 1 hour and The meet went good too, we just had a
1 30 delay since the meet was opened up
minutes around 15 minutes late but it still
worked out very well with the
presentation and everything which the
kids loved and made me feel they were
really more focused. A kid even told me
how much they love reading, and how
some were reading ahead and it showed
how nice it was to run a book club. For
the tutoring, me and Ms. Munafo just
me and made it very easy to
meet with her through the
Google Meet and talk about
our plans for the book club.
There was actually no
difficulties in this one as well
since Mrs. Boutilier helped me
with the idea and it all went
very smooth and I actually got
one person who texted me as a
result of it.
No difficulties at all, Mrs.
Boutilier gave me some advice
and so did Ms. Munafo, I
learned to use my camera to
make sure they stay focused on
the meet.
There were some difficulties in
some kids not having read the
first two chapters but I gave
them an extra week to catch up
to us so they wouldn’t feel left
behind and leave.
No difficulties at all, Ms.
Munafo gave me some more
advice on how to keep the kids
focused and it went pretty well.
The only difficulty was that due
to us opening 15 minutes late,
we lost some kids but I believe
the kids who missed out spent
the time reading and catching
up on any missed work in the
first place.
