Parking Regulations

1. Each lot is entitled to the use of two (2) vehicle parking spaces as per Article II, Section 3 “Parking Rights” in the
Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions.

2. The two (2) parking spaces assigned are directly in front of the home and extend to the adjacent home boundaries. No
parallel or diagonal parking is allowed in front of the unit. Owners may permit others the right to use their assigned parking
spaces but the permission must be in writing and specify the length of time the permission applies.

3. Additional parking is available in the pool area, and the dead end at Adams. Parking that is determined by the Board to
interfere with the operation of the pool in any way will be disallowed. Parking that is determined by the Board to interfere
with the harmony and aesthetics of the surrounding community will be disallowed in this area. No watercraft of any
kind may be parked in this area.

4. Designated visitor parking areas are for visitors and not to be used as overflow or excess parking areas for residents.
Parking of any such vehicles will be fined and towed at the owner’s expense.

5. Residents and long-term guests are not permitted to use visitor parking. Long term guests are defined as anyone who stays
overnight more than 60% of the month (based on 30 days).

6. Vehicles parked one behind the other shall be determined as double parked and are subject to being ticketed by Caln
Township Police and/or subject to be fined by the Board or both.

7. Parking is not permitted immediately in front of the mailboxes. Parking is permitted curbside on Essex or any pondside area
unless designated as “No Parking.”

8. Parking against the flow of traffic and/or within 30 feet of an intersection is not permitted.

9. All vehicles parked in Barley Sheaf must be operable, currently inspected and registered at all times. A vehicle with a
protective cover may be subject to inspection to assure compliance with these rules. Any vehicle found not to be in
compliance may be towed after 48 hours of receipt of notification by the Owner. If the Board is unable to establish or locate
the owner of said vehicle, The Board has the right to have the vehicle removed. The Owner of a removed vehicle will be fined
and assessed towing charges as a part of their assessment.
10. All open back trucks are to be empty of all materials and/or debris (e.g., dirt, stone, leaves, tree branches, or household
items, furniture, appliances, etc.) at all times when parked anywhere in Barley Sheaf. Only hard-shell caps with tailgate
closures, or a neat tightly fitted cover are considered to be closed. Any items that are judged to be aesthetically displeasing to
the Board will not be allowed and will have to be removed immediately.

11. No tractor trailers (cab, or trailers, or both), are to park anywhere in the community overnight, except when contracted by
and/or with the permission of the Board.

12. No prohibited vehicles or related equipment of any type is permitted to be parked anywhere in the community overnight,
except when contracted by and/or with the permission of the Board. Prohibited vehicles shall be defined as a vehicle:

a) With more than two axles; or

b) With more than four tires that does not fit into the parking space: or

c) With a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 or more pounds: or

d) That exceeds the width of nine feet or length of seventeen feet of parking space, or which does not permit the vehicle
parked next to it full and unfettered access to that vehicle: or

e) A truck with an enclosure that exceeds the height of the top of the cab or the width of the bed; or

f) School buses.

13. All beds of vehicles permitted with contents in the bed must be secured.

14. Vehicles must be parked wholly in the parking space and may not protrude over the curb, sidewalk, or grass, unless
approved by the Board.
15. Snowplows must remain attached to their vehicles while parked in the community. No equipment may be stored in the
parking areas, unless contracted by the Board.

16. No oil changes shall be allowed within the community.

17. No motorized vehicle of any type shall be driven or parked unto common ground, without approval of the Board. All repair
work necessary for restoration to any damage resulting there from whether by the Owner, tenant, guest, or employee, or
workman will be billed to the Owner and collected as an assessment.

18. Owners must keep each parking space clear of litter and/or debris at all times.

19. Any damage, including excessive oil leaks, to any parking area by a vehicle is the responsibility of the Owner. All repair
work necessary for restoration to any damage resulting there from whether by the Owner, tenant, guest, or employee, or
workman will be billed to the Owner and collected as an assessment.

20. The Association shall not be responsible for any damage incurred in the parking areas or roadways within the community.

21. All ladders or equipment must be stored neatly on permitted trucks and may not exceed the length of the parking space
while stored on a truck parked in the community.
