WRITING TASK - LEVEL6

Objective: The purpose of this task is to evaluate your writing skills using the topics
that you have learned in this course.
Instructions:
You are members of an environmental group called Save the Planet. You want to
take action to solve the nature problem. Then, considering nature issues write a
paragraph in about 180 - 200 words to explain:
 What will people be doing to solve nature problems in Colombia?
 What will Colombian people be able to do?
 If you were Colombian president, what would you do?
 What would it have happened if people had taken care of nature?
You must use: future continuous, " be able to", conditional 1, 2, 3 and,
reported speech.
*Write complete sentences to answer each question (Subject + verb +
complement). Use correctly the structures.

Tips

Reflective writing is more personal than other types of academic writing.

 You can use the first person (I ... , My ... , etc.) and explain how you
felt.
 Think about the experience in detail.
 Explain what went well and what was challenging, and say what you
learned in the process.
 Use a structure:
 Short introduction to the situation
 Evaluate the most important things about the experience, including
solutions to problems
 Say what you would do differently next time
 Say what you learned overall.
 Keep the focus on your learning process and what you will do better in

Solution

To solve the problems of nature in Colombia people are able to care of natural resources, avoid
pollution that directly affect nature and bring environmental problems that destroy nature, to
reach this alternative we would generate awareness from home and personally. The care begins at
home taking care of vital resources such as water, not throwing garbage and recycling properly so
that these wastes do not run through the water sources and come to pollute nature. If I were
president I would make a recycling policy in the homes of Colombia, it would be the obligation of
all citizens to contribute to the care of nature and the control of the waste they produce, in the
industries I would generate more controls so that industrial waste does not end up affecting the
rivers and therefore nature. If people would take care of nature, water sources would be in better
conditions, there would be better natural resources, there could be a better agriculture due to the
good condition of the soil, in a certain way it would be good for the economy and as a factor to
reduce hunger and poverty in the world, it is something that is aiming through the sustainable
development goals.
