Designation,

BOSS MOULDED FURNITURE.

Dear Sir,

We are undergraduate students of Institute of Business Administration and we plan to construct a

library in Al-Mohsin orphanage which is situated at Rashid Minhas Road, Karachi. The mission of Al-
Mohsin Orphanage is to provide support services and aid to meet the needs of the children of Karachi
identified as at-risk or suffering from abandonment, abuse and/or neglect.

The children have limited means of entertainment within the compound because most of the
organization’s funding goes into fulfilling basic survival needs. The books and educational services in this
library will open the doors of imagination and possibility for the young children. We will also provide
building improvements, shelves, tables and chairs, while the librarian and literacy support specialists will
be managed by the organization itself.

Your donation will be recognized in several ways. As a sponsor, your name will be placed on all the
materials and the library will also be associated with the name of your company. We ask that you will
consider a sponsorship donation of Rs. 150 000. It’s your choice whether you sponsor it in cash or in
kind. By giving to us you’ll be helping us provide assistance to the underprivileged people in our
community as this is our corporate social responsibility.

Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Sincerely,

Students of Institute of Business Administration

AL-MOHSIN ORPHANAGE VIEW AND MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Al-Mohsin Orphanage is to provide support services and aid to meet the needs
of the children of Karachi identified as at-risk or suffering from abandonment, abuse and/or
neglect.

The vision of Al-Mohsin Orphanage is that no child should be without the basic necessities in
life, regardless of their life circumstances.

We believe that all children have the intrinsic value and deserve to be nurtured, loved and
protected. They are entitled to have caring adults who help them develop to their full potential.

Together we have an opportunity to contribute to our children’s future, be part of an enduring

effort that promotes safety and the well-being of our children, providing them with the
necessities of life and a welcoming, safe environment.

WHY AL-MOHSIN ORPHANAGE NEEDS A LIBRARY

The children, ages 6-20, have limited means of entertainment within the compound because
most of the organization’s funding goes into fulfilling basic survival needs. The books and
educational services in this library will open the doors of imagination and possibility for the
young children. For the older children it will provide rich educational resources and the critical
English skills they need to attend university and succeed in life.
We will provide books in English and Urdu, including children’s books, early readers, non-fiction
and reference materials. We will also provide building improvements, shelves, tables and
chairs, while the librarian and literacy support specialists will be managed by the organization
itself.

OUR OBJECTIVE
We want to provide this basic necessity to those who have not access to it. Getting education is
the right of every child. We are trying to provide that right approachable for them. Almost
every school, college has a library but unfortunately this orphanage does not have any. So, we
are up to build one for them. This library will help them enlighten their mind with innovations.
It will also provide an environment where a child is compelled to sit and study peacefully. Books
on different subjects will be made available to students. There will be a separate section for
story books as well and newspaper.

LIBRARY REQUIREMENT
 2 Bookcases with at least 5 shelves
 5 tables with 4 chairs each
 Reading material such as books, tapes, posters, magazines, pamphlets, newspapers,
newsletters, games, teaching aids, videos, maps and other items
 Efforts to improve quality of ambience: replacing old curtains with new ones etc.
