I. What Happened?

PRE-ASSESSMENT:

1. Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an
unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris
Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that's raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can
stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars,
she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.

2. The horrible thing that happened in my life was when I was in Grade 7 high school. I was with
my friends when a woman approached us and stole all our belongings. Fortunately, only a bag was taken
from me.

3. Theory of Everything (2014) This Movie depicts the story of Stephen Hawking, the greatest
cosmologist and physicist of our time. As a brilliant student of Astrophysics, he shockingly learns that he
is suffering from motor neuron disease. Doctors predict just 2 more years for him to live.

4. The luckiest thing that happened in my life. Was when I almost fell into the abyss when, I was 7
yrs old and fortunately I saw a tree to hold on to. I thought that was my last day on earth.

1. Title: The History of Electric Vehicles

Summary: Electric cars have a long history in the United States. The first successful electrical car was
built in 1891. Around the turn of the century, nearly one third of all the cars being manufactured in US
were electric.

2. Title: The Columbia Electric Vehicle Company

Summary: Albert Augustus Pope created one of the first car companies in America – the Columbia
Electric Vehicle Company. Pope chose electric motors because they are cleaner, quieter, and work more
efficiently than gas-powered motors. Pope's fortunes changed, though, when the Ford Motor Company
introduced the Model T in 1908. By the time Charles Kettering invented the first practical electrical
starter for the automobile in 1912, Pope was already out of business.

3. Title: City states in ancient Greece

Summary: Athens and Sparta were both city states in ancient Greece. Though they had similar forms of
government, the cities were rivals with different value systems. Athens was the epicenter of economic,
political, financial and cultural life in Greece. The two cities eventually fought during the 10-year-long
Peloponnesian War. After their victory, Sparta allowed Athens to remain Greece's cultural and artistic
leader.

4. Title: Attack on Pearl Harbor

Summary: On December 7th, 1941, the Japanese attacked the US Navy at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Many,
but not all, US ships, fighter planes, and other aircraft were destroyed. At the time, Hawaii was not a
state, but a USA territory. USA was trying to remain neutral in World War II, which had been going on for
several years already in Europe.
