Option #1 - Cutting on the left uses the Triangles on a Roll Method (TOAR).

TOAR Method For Second small Hst: Assemble Block using matching fabric.
With right sides facing, layer a Fabric B rectangle with a Side Block should measure 7 1/2” x 7 1/2”.

Place a two by three section of 1 3/4” Finished Half
Square Triangle Paper on top and pin in place. E E

Set stitch length to 1.5 and sew on the dotted lines.


Make 4.
Cut apart on the solid lines.
Second Small Half Square Triangle Unit should measure Assemble Block using eight First Small Half Square

Make 1.

Quilt Center:
With right sides facing, layer a Fabric B square with a
Fabric I square.
Stitch ¼” from each side of the drawn line. Assemble Quilt Center. Press open.
Cut apart on the marked line. Quilt Center should measure 21 1/2” x 21 1/2”.
Second Small Half Square Triangle Unit should measure
2 1/4” x 2 1/4”.

Make 40 total.

Assemble four matching Second Small Half Square


Triangle Units.
Second Pinwheel Unit should measure 4” x 4”.

Make 1 from each print.


Make 4 total.

Assemble two matching Second Small Half Square

Outer Unit should measure 2 1/4” x 7 1/2”.
