CUTTING GUIDE
Fabric A
Triangles
Cut two 9-3/8 strips. Sub-cut the strips into seven 9-3/8 squares. Cut each square across one diagonal to make fourteen triangles.
Fabric B
Triangles
Cut two 9-3/8 strips. Sub-cut the strips into six 9-3/8 squares. Cut each square across one diagonal to make twelve triangles.
(You will only need eleven).

Cut one 9-3/8 strip. Sub-cut the strip into three 9-3/8 squares. Cut each square across one diagonal to make six triangles.

INSTRUCTIONS
The rows in this quilt are made using the Warm colors on one
side of the row and the Cool colors on the other side of the
row. This increases the visual contrast throughout the quilt.
Here is a list of suggested Warm and Cool colors:
Warm:
E- Pink Small Flowers
F- Pink/Green Rings
G- Pink Butterflies
H- Brown Large Flowers
K- Yellow Butterflies
L- Brown Dots
O- Pink Dots

Cool:
A- Large Blue Butterflies
B- Blue Butterflies
C- Blue Small Flowers
D- Blue Rings
I- White Dots
J- Stripe
M- Green Dots
N- Blue Dots

ASSEMBLY

1. Sew together six assorted warm triangles and seven


assorted cool triangles to make Row 1 (Fig. 1). You can either
follow the placement drawing or assort the triangles to your
liking. Repeat to make Row 3, Row 5, Row 7 and Row 9.
1. Sew together six assorted cool triangles and seven assorted warm triangles to make Row 2 (Fig. 2). You can either
follow the placement drawing or assort the triangles to your
liking. Repeat to make Row 4, Row 6, Row 8 and Row 10.
2. Sew the rows together in numeric order to make the quilt
top. Trim the top and bottom triangles even with the top and
bottom edge of the quilt top to make one 60-1/2 x 72-1/2 quilt
top (Fig. 3).
Layer quilt top, batting and backing; quilt and bind as desired.
