Hello, today I will talk about New Orleans culture.

First, I want to tell you why I chose this culture for the essay. A few years ago, I saw a

sirris (one of the best I have seen) -The Originals- that sirris was filmed in New Orleans

and they showed aspects of the culture that coght my attention and when the teacher told us

that we should choose a culture I said to myself (why no).

In the essay I tried to show that New Orleans is a city with great cultural attractions and

thanks to them it has managed to bicome one of the most recognized tourist destinations in

the world.

First, I talked about the cultural transitions of New Orleans. It was founded as a French

colony, but in 1763 (seventi sixty tree) France cided the territory to Spain for services

render egens England, then in 1801 (eitin ouf one) Napoleon decided the return Louisiana

to France. Finally, in 1803 (eitin ouf tree) the United States both Louisiana.

Second, I talked about the French Quoder, Bourbon Street, and Mardi Grass. The French

Quoder is the oldest in New Orleans and contains much of the history and architectural

culture of the place. Bourbon Street is the most famous of the place and is recognized for

the great nightlife that is offered and is in the heart of the French Quoder. Mardi Grass is

the largest carnevel in New Orleans and is celebrated on the last day in which you must

enjoy culinary and carnal pleasures.

Finally, I talked about some "unconventional" traditions of New Orleans like the practice of

Voodoo by some of black residents or the tours of supousely honded places that they offer

to tourists.

Hola, hoy hablaré sobre la cultura de Nueva Orleans.

En primer lugar, les quiero decir porque elegí esta cultura para el trabajo. Hace unos años vi

una serie (una de las mejores que he visto) -Los Originales- esa serie se grabó en Nueva

Orleans y mostraban aspectos de la cultura que me llamaron la atención y cuando nos

dijeron que debería escoger una cultura me dije (por qué no).

En el ensayo intente demostrar que Nueva Orleans es una ciudad con grandes atractivos

culturales y gracias a ellos ha logrado convertirse en uno de los destinos turísticos más

reconocidos del mundo.

En primer lugar, hablé sobre las transiciones culturales de Nueva Orleans. Fue fundada

como una colonia francesa, pero en 1763 Francia cedió el territorio a España por los

servicios prestados contra Inglaterra, después, en 1801 Napoleón decidió el retorno de

Luisiana a Francia. Finalmente, en 1803 Estados Unidos compró Luisiana.

En segundo lugar, hablé sobre el Barrio Frances, la Calle Bourbon y el Mardi Grass. El

Barrio Frances es el más antiguo de Nueva Orleans y contiene gran parte de la historia y

cultura arquitectónica del lugar. La Calle Bourbon es la más famosa del lugar y es

reconocida por la gran vida nocturna que ahí se ofrece y está ubicada en el corazón del

Barrio Frances. El Mardi Grass es el carnaval más grande de Nueva Orleans y se celebra

con motivo del último día en el que hay que disfrutar de los placeres culinarios y carnales

Finalmente, hablé sobre algunas tradiciones "poco convencionales" de Nueva Orleans

como la práctica del Vudú o los recorridos por lugares supuestamente embrujados que le

ofrecen a los turistas.
