Reasons to visit Spain

-Spain is one of the most beautiful, varied, and welcoming countries in the world,
and it has it all, from majestic mountains and sparkling seas to fabulous history,
culture, and amazing food.

- Madrid. From food, culture, and nightlife to sights and art, everything in the
majestic Spanish capital is fabulous.

-. Barcelona. A feast for the eye, Barcelona is bursting with Modernist architecture,
sophisticated boutiques, and creative cafes. Nevertheless, it’s the lovely local vibe that
makes it the most appealing and cosmopolitan city on the Med.

- The Food. A superb combination of long-lasting culinary traditions, fresh produce,


Mediterranean diet, and avant-garde Catalan techniques, the Spanish cuisine is one of
the best in the world. Just think about it: exquisite jamon, Valencian paella,
Andalusian gazpacho, amazing seafood, Crema Catalana, tortilla de patatas, Queso
Manchego…

-Football. That’s right, football can bring you to Spain. The country is home to some
of the world’s best football teams (Real Madrid and FC Barcelona), the locals are
crazy about this sport, and each game ends up into a fiesta. This is an experience no
one should miss while visiting Spain.

when I was child my dream was to visit Spain, why? I did not know exactly, but now that I have grown
up I have understood. Why?

The fascinating and beautiful country of Spain is one of the largest countries in Europe. The history that
Spain has had has left great stories to tell and remarkable landmarks to visit. Spain is located in the
south west corner of Europe, with its neighboring countries, Portugal and France. It has a population of
forty million plus people, but almost one-third of the nation’s population is foreigners that reside in its
territory. One of the most important facts about . Sports and games are a very important and popular
pastime of Spain.

after reading Ernest Hemingway's book FIESTA, I would rather visit Spain, because is a very interesting to
visit this country. and to see with my eyes.

Fantastic fiestas

Spain has some of the world’s most famous – and wacky – festivals and fiestas, from the San
Fermín running of the bulls in Pamplona and La Tomatina tomato throwing festival in
Buñol, to La Rioja’s annual wine drenching festival. And as well as these more out there festivals, each
Spanish town holds its own fiestas, when locals get together, dress up, eat, drink and celebrate.

Flamenco

Flamenco is a style of dance, singing and guitar playing that originated from the traditional music
and dance styles of Andalusia, southern Spain. The rich cultural tradition is closely linked with Spain’s
Romani gypsy community, who pioneered the now world-famous style. The genre is also known for its
elaborate costumes, with female flamenco dancers wearing exquisitely handcrafted dresses.

Some of the world’s most famous painters hail from Spain, from Francisco de Goya to Pablo Picasso. You
can discover the work of Spain’s most lauded artists in the country’s world-famous art galleries, from
Madrid’s Prado and ReinaSofia to Bilbao’s modernist Guggenheim and
Barcelona’s Picasso Museum. Also worth exploring are the country’s smaller museums,
the Salvador Dalí museum in Figueres, Catalonia, for example, is a great homage to the
surrealist painter.

Football

Spain might be a Roman Catholic nation, but Spaniards also worship at the altar of football, the
country’s national sport. Spain is home to two of the world’s best teams: Real Madrid and FC
Barcelona, who count among their players some of the world’s most famous, including the likes of
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Watching a football match at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid or in
Barcelona’s Camp Nou is an unforgettable experience for any football fan.
