Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings of peace and prosperity!

Understanding the arts and culture of the community is vital in understanding one’s self. It is with this
regard that the University Museum of this university is inviting the currently enrolled GEC 11
(Understanding the Self) students to visit the CMU Museum on March 2-6, 2020.
Our museum has three sections: Anthropology, Botany, and Zoology. It houses collections on pottery,
basketry, musical instruments, paintings, weapons, agricultural tools, plants, and animals. Our
anthropological collections may make our students appreciate the evolution of arts and culture
embraced by the indigenous peoples of Bukidnon and the people of Mindanao in general. Likewise,
our botany and zoology collections may make them better understand biodiversity, and the relationship
between humanity and their environment.
As the faculty in-charge, it is requested that you accompany them to the museum. An entrance fee of
Ten Pesos (10.00 Php) only shall be collected from each student which has to be paid to the cashier’s
office by class. The Instructor-chaperone need not to pay for the entrance fees.
