Computer Data Security & Privacy (324 COMP-3) Procedure To Install / Execute Software For Lab
You will need one 16 GB flash drive (it will format the flash drive and delete all your files in
flash drive so take backup of files if any).
Step 1: Download Rufus software from https://rufus.ie/
Step 3: Once download is complete, execute Rufus and choose the location for Kali Linux ISO
file. And click on open.
Step 5: It will take around 4-5 minutes in copying files and making USB bootable Kali Linux.
Once complete then click on close button and remove USB.
Step 6: You will have to enter into bios setup of your laptop/desktop and enable USB booting
and make it first priority. Otherwise system will boot from default setting.
Step 7: Restart your system and choose Kali Linux boot option when prompted.

browser. It provide Operative Systems like CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu and Debian. Kali Linux is
listed under Debian based OS.
Step 1: Either search “Onworks Kali Linux” in google search and it will provide a link directly
or click on the link given below.

Then Click on RUN ONLINE option. It will lead you to next webpage.
Step 3: It open the Kali Linux page. Now you can use the Kali Linux OS. You need to click on
Terminal button to start the terminal window.
