STEPS ON HOW TO INSTALL LINUX ON WINDOWS

Step 1 - Enable Virtualization

Go to “Task Manager”. In the performance bar, Go to CPU

and check if Virtualization is turned on. If not:
Go to the BIOS and turn on Virtualization.

Step 2 - Download the Linux resources

The resources used to install this Linux are Oracle

VirtualBox, Oracle VirtualBox Extension and KALI OVA FILE
for VirtualBox that suit your Operating system whether it is
64bits or 32bits.

Step 3 - Install the VirtualBox

Step 4 - Double on the Kali OVA file to begin the installation.

Everything installs automatically.

Step 5 - Run the engine. The default username and password is

Kali.
HOW TO INSTALL UBUNTU

Step 1 - Open the virtual box and click on new .

Step 2 - Add the name you want to use for the operating
system,type the location of the OS , select the operating system
you want to use, “Linux” and then select the version of the
operating system, “Ubuntu” .

Step 3 -Choose the memory size you want to use depending

on your total ram size.

Step 4 - Click next without changing any of the selected options

till you get to section where you select your file location and
size then click create to create the operating system.

Step 5- Click on start and setup the Ubuntu the way you want.
