Hissvon Director IV/ Planning Service SUBJECT : Regional Training on Program Management Information System (PMIS) Basic Inputs and System Enhancement Cum Monitoring of System Installation to Regional Offices FROM DATE _: _August 20, 2019 With the pursuit to improve service delivery by modernizing education management and governance, the Department of Education through the Planning Service (PS), Finance Service (FS), Information and Communication Technology Service (ICTS), Administrative Service (AS) and Procurement Service (ProcS) developed the enhanced Program Management Information System (PMIS) that aspires to improve the department's progress monitoring of the status of DepEd’s PAPs from planning to implementation as well as the tracking of the delivery of Basic Education Inputs and other crucial resources we provide to our field offices. ‘Thus, the PMIS Champions, Process Owners and Implementation Team from the Central Office will be conducting the Regional Training on Program Management Information System (PMIS) Basic Inputs and System Enhancement Cum Monitoring of System Installation to Regional Offices within the 16 regions (please refer to the table on the next page for the upcoming PMIS activities and schedule). The said training/workshop aimed to train the primary users regional offices on the enhanced facilities of the PMIS including the Basic Education Inputs module and to monitor the PMIS Phase | installation to all functional divisions of the Regional Offices. The participants to this training need further knowledge on the use and operationalization of the system based on the developmental needs gathered from the previous trainings on PMIS hence technical assistance to the Regional and Schools Division offices is necessary for the conduct of this activity and your office would really be a great help in giving support and aid to the participants during the cascading of the system.
