LAB REPORT # 03

Objective:

To reproduce the electrical circuits using Pspice or Proteus software.

Instrument:

 Resistor
 PSpice or Proteus software

DC CIRCUIT:

Readings:

R1=70.0

R2=50.0

Methodology:

i. Open the CAPTURE program and select a new file from the file menu. A new Proteus
or PSpice file will pop up.
ii. Now build the circuit. Select place from place menu. Click on the libraries and search
anything you want to make the circuit like resistors, voltages etc.
iii. Select on each component you want one by one and place it on the screen board.
iv. You can also change the direction of resistor and other components by rotating it in
different side by clicking on it Ctrl-R
v. The same way we can use to place the voltage Vdc. Place it in a correct place. Repeat
the steps to get and place the current source Idc.
vi. Start wiring the circuit through place wire. You can continue placing the wires in all
terminals until all components are wired and end the wire.
vii. Select place ground and click on GND. Now you will see the ground symbol and
place the ground. Use wire if it necessary to connect.
viii. Change the component values to the required ones by double clicking on the
parameter you want to change.
ix. After finished building circuit for simulation. After simulating it, Run the file and wait
until the Proteus finishes. Check the voltages and currents on all the nodes.
x. If you are not seeing any readout of the voltages and currents and then Enable Bias
Voltage or current display point. Make sure it is checked.
Conclusion:
Hence we produce the electrical circuit in Proteus Software and measure the
resistance value from it.
