Question No#2
Explain the few of different ways in which
the computer can categorize?
Ans: Computer can be classified in many ways. The common way is to
classify the computer according to working principle, purpose and size. There
are different types of computer.
1. Types of Computer- Based on working Principal
1. Analog computer
2. Digital computer
3. Hybrid computer
1. Micro Computer
2. Mini Computer
3. Mainframe Compute
Question No#3
Why are the main frames systems usually limited
in number of task they perform?
Ans: Mainframe computers are used in large organization such as banks
where many people need a same data for use frequently .Mainframe are large
powerful systems. The largest main frame system can handle the processing of
thousands of people at a moment. But the power they offer the system lack in
flexibility .Most main frame system are design for handle only specific task. For the
Department of motor vehicle the main frame system probably devoting the data
about vehicle, drivers and drivers license but little are nothing else.
Question No#4
What does the term dragging means and how
do you do it?
Ans:
Dragging means using mouse to move an object from one position to the
other selected position on the computer screen .To drag any other object first we
have to select the object that we want to move on the screen by holding the mouse
button down .This technique is also known as drag and drop . In a world program
during processing you can drag a world from one place to the another place .
Question No#5
What happens when you press a key on the
computer's keyboard?
Ans:
When you press a key, a tiny chip called the keyboard controller notes that a
key has been pressed. The keyboard controller places a code into pan of its memory
on the keyboard called the keyboard buffer, to indicate which key was pressed. The
keyboard controller then sends a signal to the computer's system software, notifying
it that something has happened at the keyboard. When the system software receives
the signal, it determines the appropriate response. The system software responds to
Interrupt by reading the scan code from the keyboard buffer. The keyboard
controller sends Die scan code for the key to the keyboard buffet The keyboard
controller sends an interrupt request to the system software. How Input is record
from the keyboard Q The system software passes the scan code to the CPU Most
modern personal computers system reads the memory location in the keyboard
buffer that contains the code of the key that was pressed. The system passes that
code to the CPU. The keyboard buffer can store many keystrokes at one time. This
capability is necessary because some time elapses between the pressing of a key and
the computer’s reading of that key from the keyboard buffer. With the keystrokes
stored in a buffer, the program can react to them when it is convenient. Of course,
this all happens very quickly. Unless the computer is very busy handling multiple
tasks, you notice no delay between pressing keys and seeing the letters on your
screen.

How does digital light processing (DLP)
technology work?
A digital light projector is a portable light projector that connects to a PC
this type of projector is rapidly replacing traditional slide projectors and
overhead projectors as a means for displaying presentations. Many
digital light projectors provide the same resolutions and color levels as
highquality monitors, but they project the image on a large screen. The
newest projectors use digital Ought processing to project bright, crisp
images. A DLP projector uses a special microchip that contains tiny
mirrors to produce images.
Question No#8
List the four factors you should consider
when comparing monitors.
Ans:
Even if the monitor looks good (or if you are buying it through the mail),
you need to check several specifications. The following are the most
important: of
time Factor you should consider when comparing monitors.
1: The first factor is Aspect Ratio it is ratio between display ration
width and height.
2: Factor is Resolution number of pixels has view the full answer
3: Factor is Dot pitch Ranges between .15 mm and .40 mm
Question No#10
Why is it important to have a standard text
code?
Implementing the coding standard reduce the many problem and risk of
project failure. I a code is complex there are a higher chance of it being
vulnerable to error .Coding standard helps in the development of
software programs that’s are less complex and their by reduce the
error.
