Firebag Projects. The criteria and extent of fireproofing of structures and equipment are covered in the Suncor Energy Inc. Fire Protection and Prevention Standard. Std No. 0060. DEFINITIONS 1. The “Owner” — means Suncor Energy inc. or it's designated representative. 2. “Owner's Engineer” — means the person responsible for the technical integrity of the Project. 3. “Owner's Inspector” - means the person authorized for inspection. 4. The “Contractor” - means the entity, erector, manufacturer, fabricator, vendor or supplier that supplies the material or services, including all subcontractors. 5. “Local Authorities” - means the Govemmental Regulatory Authority controlling Laws, Codes, rules or regulations for fireproofing of structures and equipment in the Province of Alberta. CODES AND STANDARDS The fireproofing of structures and equipment, including materials and installation, shall conform to all applicable industrial codes, standards and specifications including those listed below. Each publication shall be the latest revision and addendum, including supplements, if any.
