The magic in new beginnings is truly the most powerful of them all.” ―Josiyah Martin

The Things I Desire to Manifest

According to an article of MB, “the celebration of a new year reflects towards a new beginning and it
teaches people to move forward. Whatever we did in the old year, may it be successful or unsuccessful,
these learnings have been great lessons from last year to proceed with a new hope of a coming year is
the significance of this celebration. This way the celebration of new years awakens new hope inside us.”

The year 2020 was a year full of chaos and destruction with the onslaught of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Another year has yet commenced—the year 2021, although the things in the world are still in a state of
turmoil, I will remain hopeful of the things that are yet to come. New years are equivalent to the
creation of new beginnings which means people starting anew; this includes one’s visions, dreams,
attitudes and goals. For this year 2021, I would like to manifest and nurture 3 major things that would
help me to become a better person and be a blessing to others.

Rule #1 Healthy Living and Wellness. First of all, I would like to manifest a healthy lifestyle. A lot of
people have been dying in the recent years due to obesity, heart attack, diabetes because of not eating
a healthy die and lack of exercise. If I nurtured the habit of exercise and eating healthy food, I would
gain a healthier me that would result to the longevity of my lifespan. I will also not easily acquire
diseases from my environment as I will be insusceptible to them due to the strengthened immune
system. I will see to it to take care with my health, as one saying goes, “health is wealth.” For what use is
wealth if you are sick and in your deathbed?

Rule #2 Love and Relationships. I would also like to nurture my love for others (especially to my family)
and my love for myself. I would like to be more kind with regards to my relationship to others and
cultivate the fruits of the spirit: love, kindness, goodness, gentleness, generosity and self-control. It is my
desire not to spread hate and be responsible in my actions and words by not hurting others.

Rule #3 School. I would also like to nurture and cultivate in my journey of being a good student. It is my
desire to study more, to learn more, and to apply my learnings in my daily life. By investing my strengths
and resources in educations, I shall soon reap a good harvest and that is to graduate someday. By
achieving the diploma, I will give pride and honor to my family and find a suitable work to feed my
family.
