ABSTARCT

The company tyre treasure is operated in partnership by two young ladies who love nature and are
working their part to create a healthy environment by conserving it through the method of upcycling the
tyre and not letting it destroy the water reservoirs, land and air and producing useful stuffs. They make
use of the non-biodegradable inorganic waste and create interesting, different and unique products
which can be used for many purpose. They also use wood, metal and rope beside tyre. They make
tables, chairs called ‘dhukutis’ and ‘sarjayanthis’, Tommy’s Turf and many more. Their aim is to provide
an alternative source of income for men and women across Nepal who have skills and spirit but lack
opportunities. They are creating a better place to live and are earning a good profit as well.

Opinion
Coming from a science background, I know how the environment is being degraded day by day by the
harmful use of the non-biodegradable substances. It effects not only the environment but also to us,
human beings and animals. I was seriously impressed by Ms. Ojaswi and Ms. Loonibha and how they are
taking a step forward in preserving the environment by practically working and creating new, unique
and rising career by protecting the nature side by side. They inspire the youth like us to do something
better and believe in our dreams. I loved their idea of making use of the tyres into decors that are useful
as well as aesthetic.
