In the present scenario, a number of societies and

NGOs are there, some of them recently concerned about
Environmental Issues in India. Surprisingly there is still a lack of
Practical Space for Environmental Degree Holders, who will be the
best fit with specified Environmental dealing. Here are we team
FRIENDS OF ENVIRONMENT which is a government registered
organisation, first and foremostly took the initiative in this
context in West Bengal. Having a lot of experts and
Environmental degree holders all over the India and abroad, we
not only aware the common people about best practices for the
betterment of the Environment but also providing online education
for needy Environmental Science students, Environmental health
awareness and effective techniques of waste management in
different sectors of our society for a clean Sustainable
Environment.

ABOUT NB INSTITUTE FOR RURAL TECHNOLOGY

NB Institute for Rural Technology is a core support

group, SEED Division, Department of Science & Technology (DST),
Govt. of India. The Institute works in the field of Renewable Energy
and low-cost low carbon building materials. The Institute has
offices at Kolkata, Agartala and Guwahati. The Institute is headed
by Prof. S.P Gon Chaudhuri who is the Mission Innovation
champion of India. Since its inception, NBIRT has till date
developed many affordable low costs RE based technologies for
India's Rural Sector. NBIRT is collaborating with the Friends of
Environment to conduct this Webinar.
