I am delighted to welcome you all to our speech. We are a group of students

seeking awareness with the aim of educating other students and individuals about
fundamental physics laws and their effect on our everyday lives. An increase in
velocity or a decrease can have a dramatic change on the overall safety of the
tenants of the city and the drivers at the road.

I'd like you to picture the current world in the future if there were no rules of
physics; what do you think the consequences would be? How do you think this
world would operate? Will our daily lives feel and look the same? Since our minds
have become accustomed to modern technologies, it is difficult for us to imagine
that now. Unfortunately, there is still an issue that we face in today's world, which
can involve driving vehicles, namely the problem of over-acceleration, which can
lead to dangerous and harmful car accidents. We can define acceleration as the
change in velocity over the change of time, whereas velocity is defined as
displacement over time. Moreover, both acceleration a velocity has a direction and
a magnitude. Lastly, displacement is defined as the change in position (final
position - initial position).

In our everyday lives, we see several instances of velocity. Consider a car

traveling at a steady speed of 50 km/h in a straight path. Kicking a soccer ball in
either direction is another clear definition of velocity. Since we have already
distinguished the difference between velocity and acceleration it would make sense
for them to have different uses and since the usage of velocity has already been
talked about now we will move on to the usage of acceleration, when you see a car
speeding up or even slowing down that is an example of acceleration, to add more
information when a car turns a corner is an example of acceleration because the
direction is changing.

A vast number of drivers regard speed as a critical issue for road safety, with
more than 80% of European drivers claiming that going too fast is a contributing
factor in road crashes often. Simultaneously, often vehicles surpass posted speed
limits, which is often deliberate and often accidental. Characteristics of the driver,
considerations relating to human visual abilities and shortcomings, road and road
condition characteristics, and vehicle characteristics all influence speed choice. As
if they were rushing to get to work or an appointment, or if they were tired and
wanted to drive quickly because they love it.

The most popular example of this is the popular actor Paul Walker best
known for his appearance in the Fast and Furious movies as Brian O’Connor.
Walker died in November of 2013 in a fatal car accident where he was going
exceeding the speed limit and going at 100mph (160km)

My friend’s father is a cop and he once told me a story about how he

pursued an over-speeding black car that was a man who drove over the speed limit
in Toronto. It can be very dangerous sometimes but at least he got to know about
how driving slowly and safely is much safer for him and for the bystanders around
him.

As you just heard, it is not always straightforward to get drivers to drive

under the speed limits, but it is a task that must be met. This is critical because it
has been shown that increasing speed raises collision, injury, and fatality rates
while decreasing speed decreases these rates. Excessive speed has been attributed
to at least one-third of deadly collisions, according to studies. In both situations,
speed is aggravating, and it should be remembered that even minor changes in
speed result in significant increases in crash risk.

After presenting to you the statistics and factual information regarding

accelerating and speeding inroads, you now have the freedom to choose whether to
drive safely or to put other individuals and yourself at harm. To keep you and
others safe when driving, we recommend that you stick to the posted speed limit on
that particular lane. Thank you for taking the time to listen (or read) to our
insightful voice, and we hope you have a great day.
