a. What are the teens doing?

In the first picture, the boy is arguing with the teenager. So, the girl is making him silly faces while
the boy is angry.

In the second picture, there is a smiling man wearing a pair of yellow rubber gloves and he is
cleaning a window. However, there is still a lot of work to do.

In the third picture, the girl is thinking about how she can work after she graduating from
university such as like a lawyer.

In the last picture, the woman with the pink t-shirt is scolding her son because he does not make
his homework. Besides he is so angry in spite her mother is right.

b. What problems do you think they have?

In the first picture, they may be having a sibling fight.

In the second picture, the man is happy and seems to have no problems.

In the third picture, the girl is very worried about her future after graduation.

In the last picture, the teenager has problems with his mother for not having done his homework.

Mrs. Maria is scolding her son Renato because he does not want help her with her homework, so
that Renato is so angry that he wants go for a walk alone or maybe talk to his friends to distract
him.

Final 2

that Renato is so ashamed with his mom that he wants to talk with her and maybe reach an
agreement and be happy again.

De la mendicidad a la construcción
Sandra Ferreira de Souza creció en las calles de Sao Paulo, Brasil. Ella no podía trabajar porque ella
era muy joven, entonces ella pedía limosna para sobrevivir. Ella quedo embarazada cuando era
solo una adolescente. Una organización Lua Nova, en la cual ayudaron a la mujer embarazada en
Brasil. Le dieron a ella un lugar donde vivir. Después de tener a su bebe, Lua Nova ayudo a Sandra
para aprender sobre construcción, así que ella pudo conseguir un trabajo.
Inventor Eco- Amigable
Willian Kamkwamba nacio en Malawi, Africa in condiciones muy pobres. El crecio sin electricidad o
agua corriente. Despues de el que tuvo 14 años , el no pudo ir a la escuela porque su familia era
muy pobre. Sin embargo habia una biblioteca local , así que el fue alli en lugar. El podia leer libros
y enseñarse asi mismo cosas.

William estaba muy interesado en lecturas acerca de como los molinos y las bombas de agua
podian generar electricidad. Así que el decidio construir un molino.

El molino de William fue muy exitoso, y el gano una beca escolar para una universidad in
Sudafrica. Ahora el puede enseñar a gente joven como hacer sus propios molinos y reparar
bombas de agua.

El texto de la mendicidad a la construcción nos da a conocer como un poco de ayuda a una mujer
joven que está embarazada cambia su vida totalmente ya que aparte de apoyarla le enseña una
forma de ganar dinero a través de la construcción como profesión.
The text of begging to building show us how a little help to a young woman who is pregnant

El segundo texto, habla de como una persona con ganas de dar todo su potencial intelectual sin
importar las condiciones de vida que tenga, nos enseña a perseverar y de no dar por perdido nada
en ningún momento y sobre si puedes ayudar a otros en tu proceso es el doble de recompensa.

A parte de esto el molino que funciona con agua permitió al señor William demostrar las
capacidades que tiene la mente.
