Introducing PalmGHG Version 4 – Online
and Offline application
 Online Application
• Designed for manager to have a single control to monitor all mills PalmGHG data
entry progress, submission to auditors and verification progress.
• Manager will send their PalmGHG assessment to auditors via online application,
eliminating the need for email exchange.
• Auditor’s verification, comments and approval also happens via online PalmGHG.
• Upon auditor’s approval, RSPO secretariat will be notified and also receive a copy
of the approved PalmGHG submission.
• Managers can also assign additional users for each mill to support with data entry.
The additional users will be supporting from offline application.
• Apart from grower, the offline application platform also caters for different users
such as auditor. However their functionality differs from one another.
 Offline Application
• To accommodate places with limited network connection.
• Data gets auto synced when network connection is available.
• To facilitate additional mill users to work on PalmGHG data entry.
• For desktop application, the software is available for download from
RSPO’s PalmGHG webpage. However, the company manager needs
to first assign mill/s to additional user. Only then the user will
receive username and password to access the assigned mill and
start with data entry.
• Apart from grower, the offline application platform also caters for
different users such as auditor and guests. However, their
functionality differs from one another.
 Let’s Start using PalmGHG Version 4
• All existing and new growers companies going for certification, are required to
reach out to RSPO Secretariat at ghg@rspo.org for one-off activation of your
PalmGHG account. This step is not required for consecutive year’s assessments.
• In your mail, please provide details of person in charge (such as Sustainability
Manager)’s full name as representative of your parent company. This person will
be the focal management point for all PalmGHG assessments from your company.
Secondly, provide the focal person’s email address.
• Every company will have two manager accounts in which the activation code from
RSPO will setup one manager account. Company can then add another manager
account on their own.
• Upon receiving activation log in and password from RSPO, you can start using the
online and offline application.
 Submission to Auditors

Submit audit function enables grower to send PalmGHG assessment to auditor for verification. Notification
of submission will reach auditor via email and auditor will access the submission via Auditor’s PalmGHG
application. Grower will receive status of their submission both via mail notification and through PalmGHG
online application.
