Based on your current situation as a school administrator, how can a School Management
Information System help in your decision-making? How will this affect the overall operation of
the school?

Based on the current situation amongst school administrators, the School Management
Information System (SMIS) provides regular information to allow them to make decisions based
on data rather than guesses. Certain data and analysis can play a useful role in making good
decisions about where and when to use human and other resources to realize the mission of their
respective schools. Moreso, with quality SMIS they can make decisions from an informed stance
rather than a haphazard one, hence, this will have a good effect on their overall operation since
SMIS plays a lot of roles in decision making, such as allows the decision-maker to see a clear
picture of their possible decisions, gives space for the decision-maker to ask more questions
based on the information they have, and creates more accurate conversations and thought
experiments.
