Faults/Flaws of PowerDirector
 Loading:
When user open application; it takes some
seconds to open app. This is an era of fast world.
Every user wants to open any type of app by just
a single click without any loading. This loading of
application before going to home page may
frustruate users.
 Solution:
The only solution with this fault is
to reduce loading time. Loading
time for app must be in
nano/micro seconds.
 Editing:
Below we have some faults/flaws which we have to
face during editing of a video:
 Music:
In this App, although we have many built-
in sounds but we are not able to select any online music.
 Solution:
 Since use of Internet have been increased day by day. So, this App

should need to add online music so that if he did not have any
music/sound in his system; he can be able to add online music.

 Canvas(Video Aspect Ratio):

In this App; 1st thing you have to do is to
select canvas(video ratio) for your video
before you start editing. But when you
select it once; you are not allow to change
that ratio again. So if user edit video and
after editing he did not like canvas, then
there is no way to change that ratio of
video.
 Solution:
If user is provided with
“canvas/video ratio” option
during editing of his video; and
in this option he is provided with
different ratios for video than
this problem can be solved
easily.
 Fastforward and Slowmotion:
This app provide us with the facility of fastforwarding and slowmotion to
the video. But we are not able to apply slowmo/fastforward to a single
frame of video i.e if we use “duration” option we can see fade in/fade out
 option, using any of them, we can select any time duration on which our
video will play and apply it on video than that duration will be applied to
our whole video.
 Solution:
Since in this app we can clearly see that whole video is divided
into time frames of 5 seconds, so if this app also allow users to
 add slowmo/fastforward to a single frame then user may be
satisfied by this act.
 Chroma Keys:
Choroma keys are used to change the background color of a picture and
display that picture(with no background) in your video. But, there is a
fault with this option, if picture does not have single color background or
quality of picture is not very good. Then it does not show clear picture of
user i.e user’s picture will be mixed with background picture.
 Solution:
If user is allowed to select area/ portion of picture which he
wanted to show in his video, i.e. this app should provide a
pointer/marker so that user can select the area/ portion of
picture. If app updated with marker then they should also
introduce an eraser to remove selected area. Then the problem of
removing/changing bacground color can be solved.
 Problems without Premium:
Following are some issues, user can face if his aplication is without premium:
 Shutter Stock:
This option gives us many pictures, but it does not allow us to use these
pictures without premium.
 Solution:
 PowerDirector should allow users to add some pictures online too
if
this
app
is

providing the option of shutterstock. Or some pictures that can be used

without premium.

 Addition of Materials:
During editing, if we want to add more than three text/stickers/photos in
line on a video, then without Premium PowerDirector we were not able
to add more than three material in line.
 Solution:
This problem can be solved if user is provided with by
default at least 5 materials in line on a video.
 Don’t Have videos option:
On above bar, we can clearly see that we have text,photos and stickers
icon. But we do not have videos icon.That means without Premium of
PowerDirector, we were not able to add video/GIF during editing of our
videos.
 Solution:
This problem can be solved by providing users atleast
addition of GIFs during editing. Videos icon can be visible
by paying premium.
