⦁ “Advertising is the pillar of modern marketing” Justify your answer with example

ANSWER: “ Advertising is the use of bright ideas, stunts and slogans to


popularize goods.”
The main feature of advertising is to provide information about the product to potential buyers.In
a modern market, consumers are offered numerous identical products supplied by different
manufactures. Mixer grinders, television sets, toothpaste, etc. are examples:- available and when
and from where to buy them. Therefore, advertisement is advantageous to both producers and
consumers.

Advertising involves expenses but when the cost of advertisement is compared with the cost of
other ways of approaching a mass of prospective customers, Advertising is a relatively less
expensive method.
There are a number of methods of communicating information & each method has its special
features.

For example; in newspapers & magazines, advertisements appear in print, while on the radio, the
message is orally conveyed. On the television, there is oral as well as visual presentation of the
message. There are a number of media available for the advertiser.

⦁ “Every service needs a product and every product needs a service” Justify your
answer with example.

ANSWER:

PRODUCT is anything that can be offered to a market for attention, acquisition, use, or
consumption that might satisfy a want or need.
-Also include services, events, persons, place, organisations, ideas, or a mixture of these.
SERVICES are a form of product that consists of activities, benefits, or satisfactions offered for
sale that are essentially intangible & do not result in the ownership of anything.

EVERY PRODUCT NEED A SERVICE
EVERY SERVICE NEED A PRODUCT:

Every product need a service if you buy a mobile phone so you need to maintain it if you can’t
maintain it so it won’t work otherwise. Every so often you need a service for your mobile if the
LCD of your screen will damage so you want service to repair it similarly every product need a
service even a lighter because it also want refill of gas in it. If someone purchases a product, that
is not the end of business involving the product. At some point there will be a need for a service
to maintain or restore the product.

Products and services are closely aligned. In fact, a majority of products carry with them
an element of service. For example, when a costumer buys a car, the product comes with
a lot of other service responsibilities, such as tune-up and maintenance
Similarly every service need a product for example if we are considering an airline so it provide
us service to travel
