Table1.Descriptives
Blood_glucose

N Mean Std. Deviation Std. Error Lower Bound Upper Bound Minimum Maximum
Rugby 10 5.940 .7734 .2446 5.387 6.493 4.8 7.4
Netball 10 6.110 .8762 .2771 5.483 6.737 4.8 7.4
Runners 10 5.310 .6657 .2105 4.834 5.786 4.4 6.2
Total 30 5.787 .8270 .1510 5.478 6.095 4.4 7.4

The table1 is showing the results of descriptive of Rugby, netball and runners players in which the mean
of netball player is higher than the other that means on average netball player contain more blood glucose
level 1-hour post exercise. The standard deviation and standard error of netball player is higher than
rugby and runners. The lower and upper bound contain 95% confidence interval for mean that we are
95% sure that the means of rugby, netball and runner’s players are laying in this interval. The highest
minimum and maximum values are 4.8 and 7.4.

Table2.Test of Homogeneity of Variances

Blood_glucose

Levene Statistic df1 df2 Sig.

.416 2 27 .664

The table2 is representing the levene test of homogeneity of variances in which null hypothesis consist
variances are equal and alternative hypothesis variances are not equal. In my result, p-value is 0.664
(greater than 5% level of significance), we do not reject null hypothesis that means variances are equal.
Then we move towards ANOVA.
Table3.ANOVA
Blood_glucose

Sum of Squares df Mean Square F Sig.

Between Groups 3.553 2 1.776 2.946 .070

Within Groups 16.282 27 .603

Total 19.835 29

The table3 is showing the testing of ANOVA. The null hypothesis contains all k-means are equal or there
is insignificant difference between groups and alternative hypothesis contains not all k-means are equal or
there is significant difference between groups. In my results, p-value is 0.070 (greater than 5% level of
significance), we do not reject null hypothesis and conclude that there is insignificant difference between
groups. In other words, we can say that blood glucose levels 1-hour post exercise does not differ between
groups of rugby players, netball players and runner’s players.

Means Plots

The means plot is representing the graph of means in which netball players contains higher
mean, rugby contain lower mean than netball and running player contains lower than netball and
rugby players.
