TERM PROJECT

Project Title: Staff Management System

Overview

The proposed system is a system that will store the records of the staff of the
School of Computing and Technology. The records that should be stored in
the system include staff details, title, attendance, salary information, etc.
The staff comprises of three main categories: Academic, Administrative and
Research assistant. All of which have different levels of access as
determined by the admin of the system.
Instructions
1. Tackle the project individually.
2. Submit the project to Turnitin before final submission (The maximum
acceptable similarity level is 20%).
3. For the development cycle below you are allowed to use Staff
Management System.
4. Don’t forget to add exceptional conditions and dependencies (for ex:
include, exclude, etc.) to the diagrams.

Grading
a. PHASE1  35%
b. PHASE2  35%
c. PHASE3  30%
d. REPORT5%

Phase 1: Submission deadline: 18.04.2021


a. Develop a project schedule for the project using Microsoft Project.
b. What is the scope of the proposed system?

e. What are the outcomes of the proposed system?
f. Create system requirement documentation.

Note
 For the questions above use fact-finding techniques (interview,
observation, research, etc.)
 Attach all related information to report appendix.

Phase 2: Submission deadline: 16.05.2021


1. Draw the following UML diagrams for the proposed system.
a. Activity diagram.
b. Create an event list and table.
c. Use case diagram.
d. Use Case Specification for each use case.
e. Domain Class diagram.
f. Navigation Diagram.

Phase 3: Submission deadline: 09.06.2021


1. Draw the following UML diagrams for the proposed system.
a. Design Class Diagram.
b. Sequence Diagram.
c. Package Diagram.

Note: Submission should be made to the LMS.
