Task: Biography
Situation:
The language program magazine will publish a series of articles about the biographies of famous people in a special issue and
you have decided to participate. Your task is to write your favorite character’s biography including some of the milestones in
his/her life: his/her birthdate, place of birth, and any rewarding achievements of that person.
In order to be successful, make sure you comply with the following guidelines:
Give the biography a brief introduction in which you present your character.
Recall the events step by step using time expressions and connectors to show a chronological order.
Use narrative tenses.
Finish your biography with a short conclusion.
Check sentence formation, spelling and punctuation.
The length of the text should be no shorter than 150 words and no longer than 200.
You will have 20 minutes to develop this task. A dictionary is not allowed.
