Procedure Orders for SWMS vide Letter no. 2016/SI-Implementation/Part- 1V/PS dated 20.08.2019 Site Work Management System application has been successfully used to record measurements and generate bills in 144 cases across 8 PIUs. The latest position is attached herewith, Vide letter under reference (3), procedure order was issued for use of SWMS for Computerized Measurement and Billing of Works Contracts. It was advised to immediately discontinue manual recording of measurements in all ongoing works contacts and use SWMS. Despite these instructions, many PIUs have not switched over to SWMS and on date only 8 PIUs -~ are using the facility. The application has produced encouraging results and, hence, it is earnestly requested that SWMS should be implemented at the earliest for all ongoing contracts. This will be in the interest of meticulous working, faster payments to executing agencies and better updation of records which will ultimately facilitate faster project delivery.
