a) Much + uncountable noun (muito) A lot of shops
Ex: much food
Much time MUCH e MANY são mais usados em frases
negativas e interrogativas.

B) Many + Plural noun: (muito, muitos)
He hasn’t got many friends.

A LOT OF é mais usada em frases afirmativas e

nearly empty.

- Quando “a little” dá uma ideia positiva:
Ex: They have a little Money so they’re not poor .

- Quando “little” dá uma ideia negativa:


Ex: They have little Money. They are very poor.

- Quando “a few” dá uma ideia positiva:
Ex: I’ve got a few friends, so I’m not lonely.

- Quando “few” dá uma ideia negativa:


Ex: I’m sad and lonely. I’ve got few friends.
