Agenda item: Debrief Presenter: Dr. Alvarez
Discussion:
Authorship: Residents will not likely be primary author
It is not important for Residents to be primary author. After Dr. Alvarez spoke with
multiple RPDs, the conclusion is that it is more important for the residents to understand the
research process as oppose to actually publishing
Residents will continue the work of past residents but as Residents go through the Research series feel
free to think of other research ideas that are of interest
Expectation of research:
Projects will come ad hoc
Residents will also work on projects that Dr. Alvarez is working on
Research:

compared to the standard of practice of Nurses and Prescribers
