Aslimah and Wardah are best
friends. They are both grade I pupils
in Orani North Elementary School.
Because of the pandemic Covid-19,
everybody is not yet allowed to go to
school. And because of the long
period of staying at home, Wardah has forgotten how to recognize
short and long vowels in their Arabic Language lesson. Aslimah
offered Wardah to help her recognize again the Arabic Alphabet and
its vowels. With the generous help of Aslimah, Wardah is beginning
to remember what they have learned in Madrasah and together they
are improving their skills in Arabic Language.

Directions: Answer the following question.

1. Who are the characters in the story?
2. Where do Aslima and Wardah go to school?
3. What grade level are they?
4. Who helped Aslima to remember their Arabic Language lesson?
