Entertainment has always been a part of human life and Film/Stage performances

played a vital role for over centuries, from William Shakespeare’s Stage dramas to

Silent Films in early 20th century. Pakistan also start making films in 1948, right

after the independence, and their first film released on the first day of Eid, to

remove despair and bring joy to their life through entertainment after what they

have gone through. But unfortunately, the current status of films is extremely poor

with repetetive generic romance drama stories with cringy and cheesy dialouges

which provide nothing new or exciting to the audience. Its not like we don’t have

enough contents, Urdu literature is filled with incredibly written stories for all ages

that can transverse into this medium but for some reason they re use the same

formula instead of trying different varities. Fatum Production is film industry that

create films of different genres and for different ages and expand it on our cultural

values. All of ibne safi’s are sci-fi mystery thriller novel that be adapt into films or

we have the whole set of Talsam e hosharba, a fantasy novel series which could

bring breath of fresh air in the community. There are slice of life novels on

Pakistani culture that could very well work as film to promote our culture. For a

big project like this, the best place to open a studio would be in Karachi. Of course

our first priorty would be to use latest technology which will be highly andvance
3d rendering computers, multiple stage sets, green screens, highly advanced

cameras, tripods and lightening. We will try our best to provide quality stuff to our

viewers.

What Are The Requriements To Start This

Project

Building you own studio from the scratch might sound crazy but it can be done

with proper planning and enough money. First of, we need a big space to lay

grounds for our studio, big enough to contain multiple departments and set rooms.

Second of all, our auidence. Because of Netflix’s ratings and box office money of

films, its proven that there is a huge demand of films in this country. With proper

publicity it can be a huge hit. Third are our competitors, the best way to defeat in

their own game is to co-operate with them. Create different deals to hire actors,

directors and screenplayers that would benefit you in numerous ways. It would

require around 100 Mil to create whole studio, produce a low budget film, hire

actors and advertise the film. If we see this on a grand scale, the film could very

well be a box office hit. Its definitely a huge risk to spend 100 Mil but the success

in guaranteed with this proper planning.

 Advantages/Disadvantages Of This Project

Creating a film that foreign industries ask to buy its rights is a huge benefit for the

economy of Pakistan, how often to you see Pakistani films got a demand outside

Subcontinent. It will also reduce the employment crysis in the country. There are

alot of talented directors or screen writers that are wasting their potiential, can get a

chance to shine. More prominent actors can get recogination through this. It will

encourage more people to write stories in a hope that their stories can also make it

to the big screen one day.

But as there are 2 sides of coin, such that there are some disadvantages of this

project. If the luck wasn’t on our side and recieve constant decrease in box office

ratings, then that would be a huge blow to deal and could easily be the reason to

close down the Studio, which could lead to alot of people loosing their jobs.

Long-Term Benefit
As i said earlier, it would require atleast 100 million PKR to start this project but

once it get enough recognition and success, we will spread the branches of our

studio across the provinces and work on different projects at once with completely

different staff and production team to ensure the quality of the product doesn’t

drop. In long term aspect, we can provide our audience 2-3 films in a single that

would definitely benefit us in number of ways.

How To Promote Your Stuff

There are alot of ways to promote the film. We could use social media as our

benefit and advertise our film there. Pay money to news and other TV stations to

promote our stuff, same goes for street advertisement. Things spread like a wildfire

so that’s the best place to let know about our film. Ask actors and other celebrities

to promote our stuff. Give sponsership to youtubers to talk about our films in their

videos. Approaching newspapers and radio stations is another options. Advertise

via Daily, Weekly and Monthly magazines. Give cinemas the rights of our films in

exchange to advertise Fatum Production.

 Management Team And Workplace

Enviroment

The main goal of Fatum Production is to provide our workers a comfortable

working enviroment. Most of the time, people suffered from overwork in such

places which lead to death sometimes. We ensure to avoid such tragedy by

providing proper wage and work hour. We make sure to hire those people with a

slightest talent and have a room to improve, then provide them training before

moving them to a big project. There will be no bound of qualifiaction as long as

you know how to work tho would be more preferred if you have some sort of

dimploma in your prespective field.

Conclusion

To summarize all of this, basically it will require to start this project and it’s

definitely a huge, there is no denial in that but once things get in move, the

outcome of it will be enormous. We can create bunch of other branches and

teaching centers for filmmaking, directing, screenplay, acting, voice acting,

graphic designing, 3D animation , CG rendering , green screen effect and more.

There is alot of room to grow, there is alot of ways to promote our stuff. Pakistan

will be considered as the one that produces quality films for all ages and regions

which can obviously help in selling rights to foriegn companies which can lead to

multiple language dubs and maybe different adaptations as well.
