How is it going? I hope you and your family are well.
I am writing this email to share unpleasant news with you. Do you know the
notice from the Education the …………club? I got an email from the club,
saying that……………
- the next month’s annual fundraiser will be cancelled due to lack of support.
- the photograph club trip to New York will be cancelled.
- the guest teacher, Nathan, won’t be able to come this weekend so the yoga
marathon will be cancelled.
- the Talk show has been cancelled as the guests are unexpectedly busy and
they do not have any back-up plan so there will be no meeting this weekend.
- the next week’s cooking classes will be cancelled because our teacher is on
holiday.
- the Environment Protection Competition for primary and secondary schools
has been cancelled due to lack of sponsorship.
- the plan to erect ten new street lights along the area of DFT will be delayed
for some time due to government funding.
WhenI read it, I felt so sad and disappointed because I really looked forward to
attending this meeting/event.
When I read it, I felt so disappointed because I prepared somethings to do this
plan and I tried to arrange my schedule to join it.
I will write a complaining letter to them.

My name is Tuan Anh and I have been a member of …………club since 2018.
I am writing this email to express my feelings with the mail, saying that:
- the next month’s annual fundraiser will be cancelled due to lack of support.
- the photograph club trip to New York will be cancelled.
- the guest teacher, Nathan, won’t be able to come this weekend so the yoga

Honestly, I am really sad and disappointed to hear the news. Because I totally
agree that all of us had worked very hard to prepare for this incoming event. I spent
whole week for it. I have been looking forward to it for a long time. Moreover, I
tried to exchange my schedule to join it.
May I recommend you a couple of suggestions?
- It would be fantastic if we could have another urgent meeting to discuss the
alternatives. I strongly believe that if you could gather all of us, we could
able to find many alternatives to collect more funds for our club activities.
- The first solution is that you could provide us with some convincing reasons
related the cancelled trip to make sure that all of club members are satisfied.
If not, you should hold an urgent appointment for us to discuss another trip
instead.
- The first solution is that you could contact with the teacher to set a new
meeting to come and inform with member’s club as soon as possible. If not,
you should invite another famous guest teacher of the former one.
- You can persuade the guests to hold the meeting as soon as possible. If not,
you can invite another one come this incoming meeting.
- First, if you have a plan, you should inform sooner for us. Another one, I
don’t know when do the teacher comeback? You should give a specific date.
- First, if you can persuade a few sponsorship, we will hold this competition.
If not, you can hold a Talk show or meeting discuss about “How important
protect the environment?”
 - To make this matter better, you should appeal donations from the locals in
this area or sponsors in other ones while we are waiting the government
funding.
I believe that a lot of members have the same thoughts as me.
