Art History Periods: Below are the periods, and then a suggestion for a

chart with links that will help you to build. Use the WGA website, the Annotated
Mona Lisa, and the links I have sent to you…

Renaissance 1350- 1550

Learn the movements within these periods: Flemish, mannerism, impressionism,


realism, fauvism, etc.

Choose at least one artist for each movement, several for each period (El Greco for
Mannerism, for example) and link to one or two pictures that you will study so that
you can discuss specific examples of mannerist art in the paintings of El Greco on the
exam.

Use class notes, Viault, The Annotated Mona Lisa, and WGA to fill in these paintings
and this information.
