Course Title : Signals, Spectra, Signal Processing


Course Code : ECE10
Placement : First Trimester, Third Year
Course Credit : 3 Units Lecture
Pre- requisites : MTH5, MTH5L

Course Description: The subject covers the time signal processing, the analysis and representation of continuous – time and discrete time signals, Fourier
transform; z transform; convolution; FIR filters; IIR filters; random signal analysis; correlation functions; DFT; FFT; spectral analysis; applications of signal processing
to speech, image, etc. Application that includes spectral analysis and image pattern recognition.
