MUL DWARKA PORT.

LOCATION – Mul Dwarka, GIR SOMNATH DIST, GUJARAT (IND).


Mul Dwarka is situated on the S coast of Saurashtra
on the W coast of India.
Operator- Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB).
UN locator code- INDMDK.

Mul Dwarka is the Bulk Cement Terminal (BCT). This private port is
mainly used by AMBUJA cements. In 1994 Mul Dwarka port was
appointed a customs port for unloading of Coal and loading of
Clinker and Cement.
The port has 2 jetties with 4 berths.
Berth NO- 1 & 2 (Old jetty) also known as North jetty.
Berth NO- 3 & 4 (New jetty) also known as South jetty.
The captive jetties equipped with mechanized loading and unloading
systems. The port has available storage tanks and pipelines, Coal
stocking yard etc.
The port has two jetties, Import (Coal) and Export (Cement). Cargo
conveyors, Break water wall, Cement silos, Furnace oil (import).
Cargo traffic IN: Coal, Gypsum.
Cargo traffic OUT: Cement, Cement clinker.

The port has a Capacity of 2,200,000t which is projected to reach


3,000,000t.
Approx. 24 vessels handled annually.
