ANS 1
For the lay off in sales department first we should analyse the performances of employees in
recent years from start to overall performance. Analyse their last year sales and goals
accomplishment of your employees. As a manager or a decision maker, I would lay off
people who have lowest ranking. I do not take into account the amount of time and period
they were in the organization. I preferred people who are more productive and put hard work
to achieve their sales goal and more focused than those who are working in organization for
many years. In study, Izhan and Rayyan both are unable to meet their sales growth and have
lowest ranking among all. Third person should be Amir although his rating was good but he
is still 2% behind his goal. I would lay off these 3 from my sales department.

ANS 2
As a manager I will try layoff should be communicate individually and privately with these
employees and I will also offers help. We should explain the reasons to them that why they
are the ones who are laid off. It’s important to consider emotions and person’s feelings when
they are being lay off. During this process we should show kind and supportive attitude
towards them and guide them about their work and mistakes so they can overcome them. Tell
them about the financial condition of an organization and that they cannot afford many
employees at the moment. Motivate them for their future try to suggest some places where
they can apply which helps them to get new job. All these things should be done in a calm
way so they cannot affect the performance of other employees in organization.

ANS 3
After laid off employees, company should create some strategies to motivate remaining
employees. Manager should motivate employees individually and appreciate their work. Tell
them not worry about their jobs and should low there stress and try to put all focus just to
their work. To motivate them select one person from employees who motivates them time to
time so they cannot lose their focus. Tell employees to support one another during the work
try to overcome the work load from their work partner. Keep them inform about their
performances and try to tell them where they are lacking so they can correct their mistake and
become more productive for the company. Also inform employees about their achievements
and give them small rewards which increase their moral to do their work in more affective
way which is good for the company.
