MX150 Microprocessor
Controller
IIntroduction
MX150 microprocessor panel controls the operation
and displays the status of the transfer switch’s
position, timers and available sources. As an
embedded digital controller, the MX series offers
high reliability and ease of unattended operation
across a range of applications.

• Digital timer and adjustments with 1 second

resolution
• Long lasting LED indicators and an easy-to-view
LCD display • Simplified major components and modules
• Inputs optoisolated for high electrical immunity for easy replacement
to transients and noise • On-board diagnostics including voltage
• Digital voltage and frequency adjustments with frequency, control and timing
1% resolution • Nonvolatile memory – battery backup not
• Voltage and frequency sensing includes: required during normal source outage
◆ Voltage imbalance detection between phases • External communication available through
◆ Under voltage on S1 and S2 and under LonWorks/ModBus network interface
frequency sensing on S2. (RS 232, RS 422, and RS 485 are also available)
◆ 3 Phase under voltage sensing on S1 and • Maintained & momentary test positions
Single Phase sensing on S2. are available to the controller
• Modular pre-signal option easily integrated • Test mode allows manual bypass of all
into the system (e.g. elevator pre-signal and transfer timers when applicable
motor load disconnect) • Automatic daylight savings adjustment available
• Universal Motor Disconnect (UMD) available for
programming to pre-signal, post-signal or both
• Line voltage transients are isolated from
the control board using remote transformers
