5G Tier3 Escalation Engineer

Airspan is looking for hands-on virtualization expert for our new 5G product line

Job Description:

We are looking for a Tier3 Engineer with the following requirements:

Must have deep virtualization and systems management experience and strong networking infrastructure knowledge.
Systems engineering skills with VMware/KVM and Linux with good networking and security foundations.

As part of Advanced Customer Solution group you will support escalated issues from customers related to Airspan virtual
5G RAN product line. In this position you will work closely with Tier2, R&D and other entities within the company, to
provide the best virtualized 5G infrastructure support, ensuring optimal performance and best integration of Airspan
products into the customer environment.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Technical field or combination of experience and industry certifications required.
 3+ years of experience as Support Engineer.
 Deep hands-on and understanding of containers, Dockers, Kubernetes and Helm-charts
 Networking knowledge – TCP/IP and OSI model
 Knowledge of cellular networks LTE & 5G, RAN and core is an advantage
 Experience in Scripting Python/Bash is an advantage
 Network certification from major telecomm vendor (Cisco, Juniper) is an advantage

 Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills with quick adaptation to change.
