On behalf of the board, management, and staff of Potters Gallery Initiative, I write
to express our profound gratitude for inviting our organization in the just
concluded 2 days brainstorming and capacity building workshop for Associations
and organizations working with persons with disabilities.
The decision to invite Potters Gallery Initiative is an investment in building the
capacity of people with disabilities in the arts and cultural space in Nigeria. For us,
the invitation to participate in this capacity strengthening session is home coming
for our organization because our work falls under one of the mandates of
UNESCO.
We are open to partnerships that will promote the participation of people with
disabilities in the arts and cultural ecosystem, and using the power of story-telling
to promote advocacy for the inclusion of persons with disabilities in development
processes and outcomes.
