Scenario

You have recently been recruited as an external consultant by a manufacturing company to bail it out of
its crisis. The organization is faced with many issues of which you are required to detect and sort out the
communication issues that it faces. The organization is struggling with communication challenges at
internal and external levels (office and factory both). You have been assigned to prepare and formulate
a communication mechanism with proposed solutions to improve the current scenario.

Task 1

 Describe how different organizations use and customize business information as per their needs
and requirements to fulfil the organizational objective.(AC 1.1)

In this assignment you need to take into consideration a few aspects:

A. What is business information?

B. Distinct types of business information.

C. How to align it to organizational objective.

 As in the previous task, you have clearly stated about Business information, here you are asked to
throw light on to the different types of corporate communication. Describe how several types of
corporate communication are used by the organization as per their needs and requirements to
present the business information effectively. (AC 2.1)

A. What are the types of corporate communication?

B. How and which one of the types must an organization choose to express their
information effectively.

C. How to align it to the organizational objectives.

Task 3

 After having gone through the definition and classification of Business Information, you are required
to gauge the limitations and restrictions when it comes to using business information effectively in
an organization. Analyze and take into consideration the barriers to effective use of business
information in a corporate setup.(AC 3.1)

In this assignment you need to take into consideration a few aspects:

A. What are the legal aspects of using Business Information in a corporate setup?

B. What are the ethical aspects of using Business Information in a corporate setup?

C. Explain the limitations and restrictions of legal and ethical aspects.

Task 4

 After having taken into consideration the limitations of business communication, you are now
required to analyses the methods and modes of communicating business information both
internally and externally. Using electronic and non-electronic medium of communication, how
effectively do you communicate with internal employees and external stakeholders.(AC 4.1)
